Because of the grand amount of producers in the Alfaro Ruiz area a Project for Farm Assistance was created, which has a variety of services like technical recommendations, diagnosis of phytosanitary problems (plagues and diseases), ground and foliage analysis and nutritional interpretation and management.

One of the primer objectives is to support the local producer by bringing direct technical assistance and the possibility of using the proper technologies that can help improve their agricultural activity.

Besides, this service expands to other important aspects like constant search for new markets and trainings on necessary subjects for the farming community. At the moment the program is assisting 50 farmers and its objective is triple this number over the next years, therefore being able to reach approximately 150 assistants.
